You may not be too familiar with the brand RevCore. They came onto the market a couple of years ago, but the parent company, CaddyDaddy, has been making travel bags for 20+ years.
Before the LT bag, I was able to try their cart bag (review HERE) and their bigger carry bag (review HERE). Both of them were awesome, so I had high expectations going in.
I also have a CaddyDaddy travel bag for when I go on trips and use their Claw gloves on the course. Again, both of those have been solid as well.
As for the LT stand bag, it’s a full-sized carry bag that holds 14 clubs. It’s very similar to their hybrid stand bag but is slightly smaller and lighter. It just depends on whether you prefer storage or weight. Let’s jump into the details.

The Looks

When it comes to golf bags, nothing looks better than leather (synthetic). I know not everyone will agree, but I think it gives a timeless look and feels more premium compared to something fabric.
Not only is the look better, but it also tends to be more durable and easier to clean. The white version might be tougher to keep clean but the other two colors (black & grey) are easy to wipe down.

I have the hybrid bag in grey and the cart bag in black. Both of them are nice. After seeing all the colors, I really don’t know which one I’d pick.

What I like about the LT is that the look is simple. You have the main color and then the accents in black. It’s a clean look that would suit anyone on the course.
The Features
5 Way Top: The LT comes with 5 full-length dividers that will fit 14 clubs. More dividers could give you less club tangle but it’s also going to add weight.

Dual Carry Strap: It comes with a double shoulder strap that’s well padded and doesn’t have any plastic parts. Plastic would be a bit lighter but it’ll also be less durable.

2x Storage Pockets: The large storage pocket can fit a pair of shoes and is quite large. The other pocket is a lot smaller and could be used to store all of your accessories.

Waterproof Valuables Pocket: This pocket is weather-sealed and is where you’d put your phone, wallet, or keys. It’s velour-lined too so it won’t scratch anything.

Cooler Pocket: There is a small cooler pocket that can store 3 cans of whatever you drink. It’s insulated but the pocket is open at the top (no zipper).

Magnetic Pocket: There is a good-sized magnetic pocket that’s also velour-lined. This is where I store my rangefinder for quick and easy access.

Ball Pocket: The ball pocket on this thing is huge. Even for someone like myself who loses their fair share of balls, there is more than enough room. You can easily fit 2 boxes of balls (with the box).

Velcro Glove Holder: Rather than putting your glove in your pocket or back in your bag, you can attach it to the outside. This lets it dry faster and will make your glove last longer.

Metal Towel Loop: A lot of bags have a plastic loop where you can attach a towel. Some of them have a fabric loop. The LT has a metal loop, which is probably the heaviest, but is also the most durable.
Umbrella Holder: I don’t use an umbrella on the course, but if you do, you’re covered. It’s nothing fancy, just a string and a loop.
Flat Base: If you occasionally use a cart, you’ll want a bag with a flat base. Some bags use a kickstand and some bases aren’t fully rounded. This just makes them a bit off-balanced when standing flat. This one is quite stable.
The Performance

When it comes to the performance, I’m looking for a bag that is comfortable to carry, is designed well, and doesn’t have any small annoying details you notice throughout the round.
Since this is a carry bag, one of the most important things is that it’s comfortable to carry. This means the straps need to be well padded, the bag needs to be balanced, and it needs to be fairly light.
Since the bag is made from synthetic leather, it’s not going to be the lightest. The bag and strap weigh in at 6.4 LBS, which is middle of the range compared to others.
With some bags being less than 4 LBS, you’ll need to decide whether you prefer the premium look or the lightest option.
That said, the strap on the LT is thick and comfortable to carry.
Another important factor is how easy it is to put clubs in and take them out. Certain bags have an open concept at the bottom where all the grips get tangled. You then have to force them in, which will eventually wear out the bag.
The dividers on the LT are full-length and go all the way down. It’s just a piece of fabric that separates the pockets though and the sides aren’t sealed. It’s this way on most of the bags on the market.
I’d say there was slightly less club tangle on the hybrid bag because it had 1 extra pocket. Overall, I’m still happy with how the clubs went in and out.
One minor detail with the LT and hybrid bag is that the plastic carry handle isn’t the most comfortable (it’s firm and ridged). I prefer the handle on the cart bag or something a little softer.
The Quality

Where the RevCore bag shines is with the build quality. Even with the gloves and travel bags, the durability is top-notch and should be something that’ll last for years.
What I like about these bags is that the use of plastic is limited. Sure, it adds a bit of weight but it’s going to be a lot more heavy duty.
Some bags use plastic on the straps and buckles. The LT uses padded fabric and metal. Things are also riveted to the bag rather than just stitched.
Comparing the zippers to some of the other bags I have (Ping & Sunday Golf), they feel a bit smoother and sturdier on the LT. I haven’t had issues with the other bags, it’s just a feeling I get when using the bags.
The Bottom Line

After using 4 different RevCore bags over the past couple of years, I can still say they’re one of my favorites. If you want something leather, there really isn’t anything better for the price.
There are bags that are double the price that could offer something the RevCore doesn’t. It’s just hard to justify anything else when you factor in the price.
As for which model to get, the hybrid bag is the better option if you usually take a cart. You’ll get a bit more storage for a small bump in price.
The LT bag is the better option if you carry your bag often. It can still be used on a cart, but the smaller size and weight will make it more comfortable to carry. Plus, it still fits everything you’d want on the course.
Even though the LT bag could be perfect for some people, it’s not the best option for everyone. We have a guide that goes over some of our favorite golf bags, whether you’re a walker, carter, or someone just getting started. You can read that HERE.
